Maine Gardens
Spring comes late to Maine, but despite
the short growing season, Maine has some of the most beautiful
gardens in the country. Some of the finest private gardens
are open only occasionally during the garden tours that are
so popular here, but there are many public gardens that are
equally as charming and colorful, from wildflower meadows
to seaside sanctuaries.
