Catigny Park- Wheaton, Illinois.

Catigny Park

Name of Garden:
Catigny Park

History and Description:
The Cantigny Gardens were designed in 1967 by landscape architect Franz Lipp to provide beauty throughout the year and to test plants new to the Chicago area. The gardens, now mature, are considered among the finest in America.

The gardens can be enjoyed throughout the seasons. Color is provided by bulbs in the spring, annuals and perennials through the summer months, and continues through the fall with colorful mums. Even in the winter a unique look is brought to the gardens by the presentation of berries and exposed bark and branch configurations.
