Description:
The grounds encompass a total of 91 acres, approximately 15 of which comprise the lawns and formal gardens. The remaining acres include 10 hiking trails, a 7 acre Red Maple Wetland with a boardwalk, a pond and a 3-acre wildflower meadow.

Directions:
From the Merritt Parkway (Route 15) - Take Exit 35 and follow High Ridge Road (Route 137) north for 1.5 miles to Brookdale Road. Turn left on Brookdale Road and proceed 3/10 of a mile. The entrance to the Bartlett will be on your right.
From Interstate 95 - Take Exit 7 and follow Route 137 north 6.3 miles to Brookdale Road. Turn left on Brookdale Road and proceed 3/10 of a mile. The entrance to the Bartlett will be on your right.
From Westchester County - Take Exit 4 on Interstate 684 and go east on Route 172 to Bedford Village. Continue on Route 172 to Pound Ridge and take Route 137 south five miles to Brookdale Road. Turn right on Brookdale Road and proceed 3/10 of a mile. The entrance to the Bartlett will be on your right.
By Connecticut Mass Transit:
Take the "E" High Ridge Road bus which stops at Brookdale Road.

Hours/Fees:
A donation of $5 per adult is suggested for visiting the Bartlett gardens and grounds. The Bartlett relies on the support and generosity of our visitors and the friends and members of the Bartlett Arboretum Association.
The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is open to the public every day of the year from 8:30 a.m. to sunset. The Bartlett Visitors Center, an 1880's colonial house, is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and is closed on national holidays. The Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens is not handicapped accessible.
